
Attorney Rick Johnson, Esq.
Rick Johnson represents clients in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Prior to joining Gulati Law, Mr. Johnson worked as claims counsel for a National Title Insurance Underwriter, where he saw just about every way a real estate transaction can go awry. At the firm, he uses this experience to make sure your real estate transaction is not derailed by undiscovered or uncorrected title issues. Mr. Johnson also has significant experience in construction law from contract preparation through ultimate dispute resolution, including litigation in federal and state courts, arbitration, and mediation. He applies his construction experience to navigate real estate transactions with unresolved construction liens or planned development. Mr. Johnson began his legal career in Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked at a medium size real estate, business, and litigation law firm, and the firm’s wholly owned title agency. He later completed a federal judicial clerkship with the Honorable Karla R. Spaulding, of the Middle District of Florida. Prior to studying law, Mr. Johnson taught High School Honors and Advanced Placement Chemistry in Lakeland, Florida. Rick lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife. He enjoys traveling, running, and all things Gator Sports.
